The Zone B facilities are to include seven deep wells and two to five shallow wells. The shallow wells are to located near the reverse osmosis treatment plant. The deep wells are located at the following addresses:
- 8773 South 1300 West
- 1324 West Polo Lane
- 9816 South 1300 West
- 10621 South 1300 West
- 11059 South 1300 West
- 9911 South 2700 West
- 10940 South 2700 West
Production wells were drilled between 2005 and 2008.
Groundwater Level Monitoring
Well owners concerned about water levels for wells that are located near Zone B well sites may request that their well water level be monitored by Jordan Valley Water. Water level monitoring will performed by the District during the pump testing of the Zone B deep wells. Shown below is Jordan Valley Water’s Groundwater Interference Mitigation Plan for this project. This plan addresses quality and drawdown issues. Concerned well owners may begin this process by contacting Jordan Valley Water, Kennecott Utah Copper Corporation, the Utah Department of Environmental Quality, or the Utah Division of Water Rights.
